5 Questions to Consider Submitting Your Request

1. What goal are you trying to accomplish with this project?

Ultimately, who is your audience and what action do you want them to take? Attend an event? Use a new resource? Bring awareness about an achievement?

2. What is your time frame?

Please remember that any marketing project will require time set aside for a marketing consultation, production process, and approvals — plus potentially printing.

CHASS newsletters, Campus LED screens, and HUB kiosks all have unique submission deadlines.

Events require 6-8 weeks to ensure there is enough time for room and catering reservations, and the completion of any performance agreements.

3. Has this project been promoted before?

If the answer is yes, was it successful? Why or why not? Is this project part of a larger UC, state, or nationwide campaign?

4. What materials do you already have?

Photos? Artwork? Text? Please refer to these materials when submitting your marketing request, provide them as digital attachments, or bring them to your marketing consultation.

5. Who should be included in our discussion?

Please include all of the names of your meeting participants in your marketing request. It will speed up the process of scheduling your marketing consultation.
